Born and raised in Rockbridge County, I am a graduate of Lexington High School and Bridgewater College. I am a second-generation insurance agent taking over the family agency from my father Bolivar  and mother Hazel in 1987. As the principal agent, I specialize in all lines of insurance including commercial and personal, as well as financial products.  My wife Whitney and I have two children.  I love traveling and attending live music events as well as watching and playing sports especially golf.  Unfortunately, I don’t have enough time to play golf as much as I like, but I enjoy watching it almost as much as I do playing it!
